A chairde, welcome to 2018!

First of all, thank you for your influence in my life and the life of 3Advance. We’ve come a long way, and I hope we’ve positively affected your business like you have mine. The last year was a hell of a ride, and Darren and I felt we should share some of the highlights:

We went fully agile! Yes, we cranked it up to 11 and harnessed lessons from our first agile experience with NPR One a few years back to Rob and Mark’s 2017 adventures with Upside Travel… Not forgetting our own iterations, headaches and training in between ;). Perhaps our biggest team success this year was to fully embrace the agile/scrum process, and apply what works for single-products, to our array of clients and projects across the board (pun-intended). ✅

We double-downed on User Experience: We’ve always strived towards welcoming, intuitive apps that just work… But it’s not easy to satisfy requirements with simplicity. This year, we redesigned Special Olympic’s Unified Sports Funding Portal, to save valuable hours throughout the organization. We took a bold approach to TwentyTables that simplified and streamlined this new startup’s meal ordering… And we welcomed Lin Park, our first dedicated UX Designer who’s allowing us to dig deeper, and design smarter. 🚀

We got new digs! More people means more space, and just as importantly we wanted a place we could be proud of – somewhere that enhances our ability to produce, and that our clients can enjoy too. It’s double the floorspace and designed to match our brand and personality, with a Farragut Sq view that’s certainly an upgrade. We were officially recognized as a top developer in DC. This year, we made the 2017 Clutch list of top app developers in Washington DC. This was a massive honor, and it most humbling to read our client reviews, and to realize we’re the only company in the Top 5 that scored a perfect 5.0. Thank you so much for helping us get this far! 🏆

Finally, our biggest thanks go to the people who haven’t simply hired us, but who inspire us everyday. We learn so much from you – in your perception and dedication, in your bravery and your strength, in your practices and professionalism. We’ve poured our heart and soul into some all-new applications launching in the coming weeks, and we’ve got some very exciting new ventures kicking off as these wrap up… Please always know that your success is our success, and we thrive on every ounce of it.

2018 will be an exciting year for all of us. On behalf of the entire 3Advance team, I wish you all the best with family and business life in the coming year!
